Do any of you have an unwanted OEM CD player please? I'd like to replace the tape player in my 1998 D8, but still keep the facia looking neat. If this is possible, I understand the CD player will have to be coded to my VIN?
Thanks, Nick

Re: WTB CD player
Hi Nick.
Sadly I don't have one, but I would like to clarify that a 1998 will need a radio code supplied that you type in using the buttons on the CD player. ( I'm guessing yours is a Philips model?)
It's the later models with the Clarion stereo that need to be VIN coded.
If you find one online, please ensure you get the 4 digit PIN code

Re: WTB CD player
Hi Kelv,
Thank you for that - I didn’t know the earlier CD players were Philipses.
