D8 Exec Turbo Estate - BREAKING

Post by mjb »

Seeing as the best offer I've had for the whole car was £32, I'm offering you guys a choice of parts before I send it to the scrappers.

No! Don't scrap it Matt! I'm sorry I keep going on about it, it seems such a shame to bin the car when it could be saved :(
I'll shut up now and say no more on the subject
Will you be selling the alarm sensor cover for £5 plus postage? :P

It's china blue isn't it? Can I have the rear bumper, the nsr tail light cluster, the osf wheel arch liner, the front suspension struts and your jack & brace (D8 came without)? Hold on a mo, Stoke. Oh bugger. :(

I've got one in silver captain. It's in pretty good nick, you can have it if you pay for the postage, it's just cluttering the garage.
Mind you, how to package a bumper :?

Bodywork is scratched, stone chipped on the front (175,000 miles remember) and some panels are dented, although the front bumper's ok iirc. The colour is "Rhodes Blue"

Mine have never worked - it seems on the estate they chose to disconnect the water supply, probably because there's a separate motor for the rear wiper. The plastc hinges on mine may be broken as a result of going "what's this?" against the water pressure, but the jets should be operational... If you want to come up to stoke I'll gladly let you have a play, otherwise I can package the jets off to you "sold as seen"... make me an offer.

Thanks teamy! I wouldn't want to see the bumper go through my mail slot :) Woking isn't that far from me so I'll see if I can push myself to get over there at some point soon :cheesy:

To be honest there's better radiators around. If you're in the area and desperate I'll let you have it for pennies, but you'll need a bottle of radweld right away, and a proper replacement in a few months
