Why would you be sorry it's not a VAG? I'd be glad (and getting gladder every time I see one on a low-loader :cheesy: )

Very nice looking car (although it seems to be missing something around the rear end :? ). Nice wheels (a bit VAG?), interesting dash, or are they all like that over there?

That's an "S" model - last of the run out models - probably an 03/53 reg?

Why are you selling so soon after buying (500 miles) :P

If that's an 03/53 reg it's a cracker for the money especially with new clutch/cam belt!

HAHA sorry I copied and pasted the text from an advert I have on a VW forum I go on

It’s a 2003 (53)

I actually took the car as a p/x against my old VW Golf. The 406 is a fantastic car but I going to Uni in Sept (Mature student  ) so need a smaller car.

Strikes me you already have a cheap to run car :) oh wait, I get it, a "cheaper" car..... you need some beer money for Uni eh?

That's a bit tempting now :cheesy: (I thought you were a dealer at first trying to shift it).

Fancy a trade with my 110 exec? 1999 vintage (£1,000.00) + some folding in your top pocket?

I was really looking for a cash sale but .......... PM me some details if your serious.

It is a very cheap car to run ..... especially compaired to my old GTI lol

Giving up full time work to go back to uni when you have a family means I need a smaller car + some cash ... Not for beer though as I dont drink lol
