What with still having the hold-down brace thingy with it's one good fixing facing you I'm going to try a bodge with a secretly positioned tie-wrap on the other side so it looks secure and hope he don't force it

Fit hold-down bracket with it's one good fixing, drill hole in other side of battery box to accept Huuuuuuggggeeee tie wrap and conceal to make battery bracket appear secure, replace battery lid, wipe clean and return to customer
