I have to fundamentally disagree with Omega on this one. We're entering a new age of communication and what Sky Insurance are doing here is trying to generate business through social networking. I cannot see the problem with this. Many businesses are going down this path and I think their approach (especially in this regard) is non intrusive and interactive. Its a lot better for us to have an engaging converstation about insurance with Ollie rather than just reading mundane google adsense. Go for it ollie, if you feel you have a good product then thanks for your time and thats what this forum is about. And you posted in the relevant section too!!!

Thanks for the support. I am more than happy to talk to you guys about cars, insurance or whatever you wish, although I'd better confess to being a Toyota nut, I dont own any Peugeots! If any of you have any insurance related questions you are welcome to PM or email me [email protected]

Thank you to admin/mods for making our post a sticky, much appreciated.

Whilst we cannot promise to be able to insuer all of you and beat every price out there, we should be competitive for the majority 8)

Thanks for trying us, we do have some restrictions in the Northwest area but we also have many happy customers in the area. We do have exclusions on the M, L, WA and BD postcode areas though.

Why the restrictions? Why should we be penalised for where we live?

I agree, but why should we suffer? The insurance companies still pay out these fraudsters then expect us to pay for their lack of action to stop them.

This and general compensation culture really get my goat

No doubt they don't cover Northern Ireland, when it is probably safer to drive a car in central Belfast than it is in parts of central London.

Bloody chancers.

Also, I'm not sure if I would want Rupert Murdoch getting his greedy hands on my insurance payments. BSkyB have their finger in every pie these days.

I don't think this company has anything to do with Rupert/News Corp.
