2.0 sri crank wanted

looking for a 2.0 turbo sri crank as mines scorred on one of the main bearings. obviously not looking for too expensive as itll probably be cheaper to get it reground. cheers

I'm stickng my neck out nervously here but I'm fairly sure someone said on here years ago that the crank is the same as the Diesel XUD unit. Maybe someone could look on servicepox to confirm?

I think the point was it'll fit and it's stronger (although I've no idea if that's true or not).

Maybe it was to do with the strength as you say? the Diesel one would be forged steel.

i believe the hdi has only 4 counter weights where as the sri and such have 8 counter wieghts. is the gti 6, s16 or mi16 etc crank the same?
