Do you mean the chome lion rather than the squareish badge with the black background? If so they don't have pins. I looked into this a while ago, when the badge changed over the tailgates stopped having holes :roll: . I always intended to measure one up to see if it'd cover the holes convincingly enough to keep any water out. If you find out please let me know :wink: . The chrome lion badge is availalble from the dealer for about £13.

it was the black badge with lion on it and had the 2 pins along with sticky tape. When removed there is still 2 holes in my tailgate for it.I wasnt sure how much they were to be honest but did think it would have been more than that knowing peugeot. :cheesy:

Ah, so do want a new black one? I got one off ebay for about £3, they're the same on the D8 and D9 (up to the point they changed over to the chrome one), and may even be the same as the one on the 306 estate....

mines is the same as this one i just spotted on ebay maybe have to buy this one.

Yeh i see what you mean,maybe have to measure hole pitch in tailgate and measure width of chrome lion see what the difference is do you know how the chrome lion attatches to the tailgate?

Adhesive pads on the back. There's loads on ebay, at least 3 different sizes. :?

Yeh and much cheaper than the black badge i got one just now bought this one at a cheap price its the curved one as well.

If I could lose the boot lock and badge from my saloon and just put the newer plain badge on I would.Dead sexy that.
I do like debadged cars but somehow the 406(and my old 106)seem to look lost without them.....

Will let you know how i get on when the badge arrives.can anyone tell me why i'm having such a problem getting a second hand gearknob for my 406?the one i have is 2002 406 hdi glx 110 my gearknob has the lift for reverse which reverse is next to 1st all scrappy's,ebay etc all have the reverse down from 5th and thats from 2001 up to 2004 models,why is mine different?what other peugeot knob would fit?want to keep it standard but not buy from dealers.cheers
