Have you driven an 807 hdi ?, i have a 406 hdi 7 seat estate, and my wife has an 807 hdi 8 seater, and we both prefer and take the 406 whenever we go out, the only time the 807 gets used is when we need the 8 seats it has.
The 807 is slow, has stodgey handling, and isnt a very relaxing car to drive because of the driving position, its only plus point really is the sliding side doors, very handy in tight parking spots, but the boot is so small in the 807, you cant even do the weekly shop in it without taking some of the seats out whereas the 406 can take 7 people and a weeks shopping at the same time
Yes have driven one (well actually a C8) but did not mind it, i owned a toyota lucida mpv for over 3 years and loved the high driving posistion and the 7 seats were great. I need a high car so my mother can get in easy cause she has had a knee op and loves my wife's picasso as she can get in simply (no i dont want another picasso, good car but BORING !!). I actually wanted a 806 or a Synergie but finding a good one without being mega expensive is difficult so i may as well pay the little bit more and get a 807 / C8.....Colin
We had a Synergie as well in the past (nice car, but it was a petrol and drank too much fuel), and i still have my old 806 as well (aux belt snapped and took out the cam belt and i still havent fixed it yet!), but the 806 is one of the best mpv's you can get i personally think, good handling for an mpv, and quite comfy on the long distances i have to drive for work, the economy is much better than my wifes 807 too, her 807 costs £85 to fill up and does about 450 miles , my 806 (when it was running) cost about £65 to fill up and did 500 miles, whereas my 406 costs £70 to fill up and does 700 miles
Ok just waiting for the rain to die off so i can take a few photos, I will be starting the car off at £1399.00 with a buy it now of £1800......it is moted till late April and taxed till 1st may ...i will let you know the ebay item number when i have listed it..anyone else want to know any questions please just ask......Thanks Colin
