2001 406 2.0 Hdi (110) LX D9 Saloon

Hi folks,

In the next week my 406 Hdi will be up for sale (only reason for the sale is ive been offered a rapier hdi estate which is better for all the DIY my other half has planned for the summer)

Spec is as follows. (photos will be posted up tonight)

Diablo Red Metallic, light grey velour interior
3 owners (demo plus long term elderly owner then me)
Tax till end of February, MOT toll End August 2010
132k with absolute FULL service history
Climate control
4 x electric windows, electric mirrors, Standard fit clarion CD

The car is in genuine immaculate condition, with the exterior and interior being very very very good, no wear on the seats whatsoever.

Ive owned the car for nearly 12 months and have done nearly 30k in it, its been faultlessly reliable with only routine servicing being required (using gen pug bits)

I had the Cambelt, waterpump and tensioners replaced at the 120k service, the radiator was showing signs of corrosion at the bottom edge so that was replaced at the same time. The Bottom pulley was noisy at 129k so was replaced with a Genuine Peugoet one from the main stealers.

Other than that the cars required nothing at all, runs perfectly, getting 60mpg on a european trip last year, getting 49 -53 mpg daily as well.

All four tyres were replaced recently (125k) with quality new tyres, all four wheeltrims are in immaculate order as well.

Update - The exhaust flexi section was blowing last week, so i have replaced the entire downpipe,flexi and CAT with a new Bosal item. The rest of the exhaust didnt like being disturbed so ive ended up replacing the middle and rear section of the exhaust as well...

So a complete new exhaust front to back!!

Ha ha - yeah sold to a friend of mine actually, never even test drove it, just had a look round it and said he'd have it!

Ive got to get to grips with the new Rapier Hdi estate ive now got, im into the dreaded world of auto lights and Com2000!!!!

Good job im working for Peugeot now, parts discounts are useful at times! LOL

I'll get some pics up of the Estate in the next week or so. Must say im plesantly surprised at how sprightly the 90bhp feels.
