August 27th is my birthday.

Gaydon is a bit far from here. Although I appreciate the ex-pats are coming back to England for this meet, I don't think I could manage to drive that far from here, certainly not in one sitting :( You're talking a 9 hour drive, assuming the roads are congestion-free.

My trip to York last year was more than enough driving for one day.
2002 (D9) Peugeot 406 Coupe SE, 2.2 litre Petrol. Scarlet Red/Rouge Ecarlate/Rosso Scarlatto. Black Leather interior. SOLD :(
2008 (E60 LCI) BMW 525i M-Sport, 3.0 litre Petrol. Carbonschwarz Metallic. Black Dakota Leather and Myrtlewood interior.

I guess if we could get enough cars, they "might" make an area available to us
Either that or ask if the coupe boys are holding one around that time, and we muck in with them ?
Why not? (I'll be needing a haircut by then). :P
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

Do we need to factor in a nearby hotel that charges by the hour?

Did I say that out loud?

I knew there was a reason people willingly bought 406 Estates :cheesy:

In the boot of my Coupe I currently have four 15" alloys and a stainless steel exhaust backbox off my old car, and I still have room for my laptop bag, the stuff I need for installing network gear in warehouse/workshop environments (size 12 steel toe-capped safety boots, hi-viz vest, hard hat, etc), screwdriver set, some CDs, and even several bags of shopping.

And that doesn't include the stuff I can load on to the back seats, too!

Who says you need a wardrobe-on-wheels in order to have a roomy and practical car :cheesy:

<ducks to avoid the next volley of sharp/heavy objects thrown by hearse drivers>

OK I'll stop now

Washing machine? That's what home delivery is for :)

As for a complete interior - funny you should say that, there was a thread on the Coupe Club forums where someone had done exactly that - and had room for some other bits and pieces too. On my way to look for it...

Only just saw that as Google Maps wouldn't show when I use the Pay & Go dongle, but will now I'm home for the weekend. Reckon we should try to keep that saved so that we can get a proper member map going. Doggy's only a 30min drive from where I'm training at the mo! Not too many people in the South though. Seems to be a large cluster of 406 owners in the Midlands.
