Big Summer Meet, confirmation thread.

Post by DiscoPol »

Hello all,

as I'm sure you are all aware by now we have organised a meet for the 20th of August at The Heritage Motor Centre at Gaydon in Warwickshire, as for meeting times well the place opens at 10am and I will be there from then to welcome you with open arms,

the address is:

Banbury Road,
Gaydon,
Warwickshire,
CV35 0BJ

The meet will also come with reduced entry (£8 for an adult reduced from the standard £11) to the Motor heritage centre if you so wish, otherwise its a freebie to just come park and meet up with as many as the regulars as we can get there, we have arranged our own private parking area which will be sign posted from the entry point for all 406oc members.

You are all welcome to come, the more the merrier, its the same day as Teamy's birthday so celebrations will be in full flow.
Ownership of a 406 is not essential (I haven't got one any more  )

The reason for this thread is to firm up initial numbers so I can send off the group booking form for the discounts and to confirm our need for the signed and private parking area, don't worry if you don't add your name to the list today you can still come but I need at least "twelve good men and true" to put their names down in the next 5 days or so, in order to get the forms sent off.The number of people does not have to reflect the number of cars, it is simply 12 people willing to pay into the motor heritage centre it self

so I will start the list:
Please just copy and paste then add your name.
I know some of you have already confirmed in the other thread but I don't want to be presumptuous, please add to this one.

1.Discopol +1

Thanks all

Disco :cheesy:

To be honest, I haven't put my name down as although I'm pretty sure (99%) that I'll be going, I don't like to make promises that I can't keep as with our family you never know what's going to happen from one week to the next. At the moment, the wife should be in Ireland that weekend, but there is a slim chance she may come home on that Saturday now. The one thing that is definite though, is that if I am there, it will be me & the little man.

Is somebody going to have to lend Disco a 406 for the day or shall we stick a couple of lion badges on the front & rear of the C5 so it looks like he's with us?

Not if they're heavy - he seems concerned over the power to weight ratio as it is.
