I contacted them on their facebook page when tickets first went on sale... At that time £10 was only for paid up members...

Let us know what you find out :)

Oh, maybe you could put along side our names a description of our cars, so we know what pugs are making it? How to recognize each other?
My car will be easy for you all because of the stickers - and I am the only woman.

So something like

I'm going along with the Coupe Club and I only paid a tenner too. Just had to register with Peugeot Sport Club UK Online Shop first.

Right I've had an email off them today.
It's £10 if you order your tickets online! So get ordering people!

I'm still waiting for an answer to wether or not you can buy on the gate and how much they will be.

Oh I can't be arsed putting my details into yet another bloody website. They can have a tenner on the day and be grateful for it. :frown:

And I need a "grump" smiley.

I think it means that if you're not one of the invited clubs, then you park in the regular car park. If, however, you are one of the cool kids then you can park inside the main showground.

(Fed and watered now and feeling better :) . Been a strange day.)

What did you guys do last time, Rich? I was thinking getting in with the cool kids might get us our own space for swapping lies and giving each other food poisoning

I personally don't think it's worth us having a stand. I personally wouldn't put my car on it.
So I thought it would be okay for us to just use the public car park?

Or do we want a 406oc stand?

Last time we parked in the regular car park then walked up to the main showground (takes about 2 minutes if that). Had a look round the cars on display, in particular the 406 coupes, and bought parts from Ade who was there with his low mileage V6. Then went over to watch the track; there's a good view because of the steepness.

There's catering from a purpose built hut (burgers and chips IIRC) and what I saw of it, it looked like decent stuff. I don't think they'd tolerate a barbecue :|

Later in the day it seemed like a good idea to have a go up the hill, so we did :supafrisk: then parked in the showground. That's where these pictures are. Midsdaz is bending my spanners fitting the strut brace that Alberto got from Ade. viewtopic.php?f=8&t=18184&start=15#p180899

It was a really good day out. Relaxed and friendly, you could take your time to talk to people, and there was time to see everything.

As you might expect from a car show, the main focus is in small fast modified cars, but there wasn't the 'boy racer attitude' that I thought there was at FCS; more like enthusiast/expert. The 406 coupes were out in force last year -- about 20 I'd say. I found the hill track much more interesting than a regular race track, especially seeing lots of different types of cars attempting it.

Highly recommended.

It's not a big deal to get a stand because the car park is so close and you can go in and out as you please.

That sounds OK - I'm not fussed about a stand, but thought it would take the edge off things if we couldn't at least park together.

Looks fine in Rich's pictures and if we mostly arrive together, park together, (maybe with a bit of space between so we can 'absorb' the odd late arrival), then it's all good.

That's the reason I wanted us all to meet first.
We can stick together as one group for the day then.

Just like us to have our own side-show in the car park

It's not a big place so it'll be difficult to lose eachother, but those who haven't met many of us before might find it useful to meet up first to put faces to (user)names.
