Oh, that kind of safe  My pop did his national service just after the war so no guns involved, he was the radar operator but I guess the tail gun turret was a spare seat then.

Oddly, he's not long had cataract surgery and when he was diagnosed, because of his unusual symptoms, they asked him if he'd ever worked near any high powered radio equipment. Err, maybe

I'll be happy to take my DSLR and take whatever pictures you want....whenever the meet takes place.
I've only just seen this (sorry!), you're a gent :cheesy: I was hoping to get him up there for his 80th as Lincolns are rather rare these days but he didn't want any fuss made  I guess if he couldn't crawl about inside it...

Not been but I saw it on Yewtoob a few years back - it was another plan I had but again, if it doesn't take off... *wonders how much a ride on City of Lincoln would cost*

Sorry guys, I know I haven't confirmed yet but I'm having a nightmare couple of weeks at work. I am still intending to come to the meet but it is dependent on whether I get through my huge to-do list before Sunday

Supposed to be having a week off next week too, we'll see...
