thinking about a car fix it day if its ok guys with the mods

hi i was thinking about this a car fix it day where we could get a few people together or a lot of us and get jobs done on our cars.it would be good
we did this on another site i was a member of and was great.we was changing springs wheels cleaning putting decals on cars
was a good day to meet people.everybody brought what tools they had and anything they wanted fixing in their car.ws thinking could we do it on here
i would organise it if its ok

Can't see any problem Dave, it's more a case of pinning people down cos a lot of us are married with kids!

Location... and the weather! I doubt anyone would want to spend their day lying on a car park (something I may be able to gain access to) floor getting drenched!

Having said that, I'd swap some suspension work or maybe a cambelt change for my D8 electrical diagnostics skills ;)

I'd be surprised if the majority of us didn't know some trick or shortcut the rest would find useful.

What's up with the suspension Matt? I know my way around it pretty well now front & rear! :D

i was thinking maybe when the weather gets a bit dryer and we can get access so somewhere.i dont mind getting my hands dirty and its a good way to break the ice meeting people i find.plus i do led switch conversions too

Strut bearings. Could probably do with the dampers/springs replacing too. I'm just scared shitless of the thought of decapitating myself :(

I've lost WAY too many bleed nipple caps due to cold fingers :oops:
