I have an HDi 90.

Unplugged it on mine.

It is situated at the back of the engine, on the bulkhead. Just pulled the blue connector out.

Only real difference I found was a lot less smoke when accelerating.

Got through an MOT no problem too.

Well i unplugged it, when doing the service to my car, i changed the oil, the oil fuel and air filters and drove the car which helped performance, then unclipped the blue thing but i didnt notice any difference
