Either that or they're squashed flat 'cos they're almost invisible to truck drivers.

The crappest one I could find on Autotrader just now is a 51reg 599cc 'ForTwo' passion auto :? with 74Kmiles for £2,700.00

After that they all come in at £5K plus with a mind boggling array of versions :?

You'd never get me in one, seen one demolished by a truck in Ware (bits everywhere) and know in a lady in GB who swore by hers until she had a crash, thing rolled and she got mangled. I gather all the crash test results are compared to cars of similar size, how many of them about? Safest car in its class (of one).

Crumbs! That doesn't look good for the survival rate of the occupants :(

Was the Smart not one of the ones that failed the Elk test?

Bit like these people who buy urban assault vehicle SUV tanks to take young Partario to school and to pilates, and fail to realise that any sudden steering movement will have them flipped on the side on the road.

Was watching the Star Trek film the other night, they came across a strange object in a cloud called "V'Ger" that was based around the Voyager 6 probe that Nasa had sent out hundreds of years ago.

Got me thinking, what if it was a probe that engulfed a planet, Spock mind melds with it and asks "Why". It replies

ANTI-POLLUTION FAULT

At the centre of the cloud and the evolved vessel is a saloon car that calls itself "4of6 HDi"

I saw that one, I think the presenter said that even though the car survived relatively intact (less mass = less momentum) the passengers still would have been soup because of the deceleration.

Are we still talking about an 800cc SMART or the starship enterprise?
