2.1 TD problems HELP PLEASE

Hey everyone I am new here. I have been reading heaps of the stuff posted on here and it has been a great help.

My Issues are:
-Car takes a long time to start it just turns over and over but eventually fires. have checked power is going to the glow plugs and am going to check the actuall plugs tomorrow

-I removed the pipe in the middle top of the engine bay i believe it comes from the intercooler and there is oil all around the inside of the pipe. Is this normal?

-the can always Idle's at different speeds

-Just developed a rattle sound like its coming from the bottom of the engine but goes away when slightly revved.

Any help will be much appriciated thanks

Did you check your glowplugs, how are they, any smoke? The pipe will have a coating of oil inside, that is normal. The rattle which goes away when revved sounds like the bottom crankshaft pulley, or something conected with the accessory belt.

Are there any air bubbles in the two clear fuel pipes leading to the fuel filter?

Ok just taken out the very right hand side glow plug and it looks like it could be dead. Very black. I tried testing it with the battery but i could't get it to glow.

- When i did start it there would be a big puff of smoke, greyish in colour. Then is goes away when driving
- Should the glow plugs in this engine be 12v or 11v? does it make a big difference?
- Does anyone know the part number for these glow plugs ie Bosch or NGK or champion? or do i have to get them from peugeot direct?
