Have a search on Foxy & niz406's posts; they were into modding their tubby's.

Re: more bhp for sri turbo
-t28 turbo hybrid
-205 1.9 git cams
- less restrictive air filter
- more efficent intercooler
-free flow exhaust system
-de-cat
-port & polish head
-remap
next stage would be
-forged internals (and crank)
- the 2.1 diesel crank shaft ( this will you un displacement from 2.0l to 2.1 but please research before hand as im not sure what model engine you need the crank out of)
-dp manifolds for better flow
-t28 or t3 turbo
-aftermarket ecu such a VEMS or megasquirts
and if you want big power all the above and stick a s16 or gti-6 head on turning it into a 16v ( basically ul have made a T16 engine good for over 300bhp)

The most cost effective performance mod for these cars is to sell the car and get a V6 off ebay
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang
