hi guys my car takes a gd few turns to start and even then its take a while to turn over but eventually starts could my crank sensor be at fault as this is one of the error codes showing up

was just a thought as my eml is on and the crank is one of the error faults also could this put it into limp mode

seems like am talkin to myself here but took the crank sensor out had a look at it and it looks as if its all chewed so going to get a new one tomorrow hopefully this will solve my problem

its not that other guys don't want to help you with your problems but the fact is its a blank like querry to us.when you post your problems you need to inform us of the type of Pug you are driving, model , year and fuel type it uses then someone who has experienced a similar problem might be able to help you out :lol:

since you highlighted that a diagnostics was done and pointed to the crank sensor i think you need to replace it since you have said its on its way out, but a good clean of it will cure the problem.on most HDIs the crank sensor have caused issues with non start problems as well and therefore your car is actually heading in that direction since it is now taking a bit too long to start.plus check the fuel pressure sensor as well and give it a thorough clean.a problem shared is a problem solved :)

cheers mate also this modified wiring for the fuel pressure sensor how much would this cost from the dealers
