The plastic box in the engine compartment contains the ecu , the plastic box
under the steering column is the bsi , and there is also a plastic ring around
the ignition barrel that i think is called a transponder which reads the chip
in the key fob. The bleeping from the radio is because it is coded to the
original bsi or ecu and would need coding to the new part .
So now you know what the individual parts are called which have been replaced ??

Think you now need someone who knows what they are doing with
a diagnostic machine to read and remove the codes and to get everything
working together, You could also try disconnecting your battery for an
hour or so to see if the ecu resets also you could try this for the bsi

had the diagnostic guy look at my fault codes again, he went thru a few things, but wants to see the turbo, I think he needs to see the underside of it an get the car onsome ramps, hwe went a run in it an it showed only 800lbs goin to the high press pump, he says it should be 1200, but a think thats why its in limpmode... anyway he says soemting about the turbo control sensor, he thinks it may not be pluged in...??? any way he`s comming back to me an a`l fill ye`s in. cheers....john

i have been following your posts the ecu you took from a donor car did it come from a bosch or siemens fuel system and also did it match with your fuel system as well.as far as i know the immobiliser on the ecu cannot easily be bypassed unless you have the necessary software and equipment to decode the inbuilt chip in the ecu.
ecu that you put in that car should match the engine specification and model of your car plus like what other guys have said the bsi unit and ecu needs to be matched as well.

...and the stereo's bleeping because it's matched to the BSI too, (or should be).

I had a talk wi the diag boy the day he said |Hes had it on the computer an the ecu is trying to tell the turbo to do something or maybe its the other way around.. the turbo is tryin to connect up wi the ecu as its in limp mode, an its just not responding,, the diag boy said he thinks ive fitted a ecu an bsi out of a 110 car.... an thats why it wont come out of the limp mode...does that make any sense.??? this is the car that the stuff came from. http://flic.kr/p/8pS3Uf
