Not wanting to hijack the post but I'm getting a bit concerned with the mpg's being quoted as my 1.9td gives me roughly 32mpg town driving and 38-40 motorway cruising. Do I have a problem ? I know I have a leaky injector and am having it refurbed when I have time to leave the car parked for a couple of days. Is there anything else I should be looking at to improve what appears to be my high fuel consumption.

Definately sounds like a problem, i had this engine in my 405 and it returned 50mpg without too much bother. Not sure where to start, others on here should be able to advise better.gumby6371 wrote:Not wanting to hijack the post but I'm getting a bit concerned with the mpg's being quoted as my 1.9td gives me roughly 32mpg town driving and 38-40 motorway cruising. 405 weight a bit less than the 406, ontop of that the 406 is ECU controlled.
