Have you had a look in the Haynes manual? It does cover the 2.1. I know when I did the plugs in my 1.9 I had to rip out chunks of air duct to get at them, and the NDE one was buried right behind the fuel pump. I got the world's smallest engineer to try it but even her tiny, child-like hands could do nothing but drop a spanner behind the alternator >.<

i think if you remove the air filter you will be able to get to them but be careful as they will be tight.

i changed the glow plugs on my 2.1a while back.

done 3 and left the one behind the fuel pump, which already looked a lot older than the other 3, lol.

moral of the story is, save some cash and buy 3 instead of 4.

right, changed the plugs yeterday, not as hard as people were saying but still abit fiddly, managed to change all four, used a standard 8 and 12 mm spanner, took about an hour all in all, did have to remove the air intake and engine cover

406 estate, 2.1TD, I fixed her, then part exchanged her for a Mercedes E300TD Avantgarde Estate.
