Hi all from new 406 owner

Post by Blubayou »

Hi all, my first post.

Nearly 2 weeks into ownership of a very nice 2004 406 HDi (90) S estate. One private owner from new (a friend just retired), 62'000 miles, full dealer history up to 48'000.

Changed all the discs last weekend as they were shot (huge thanks for the guide on this forum), a few bits & pieces to do, but basically pretty damn good.

Just £2650 too! 8)

Doing lots of miles at the moment so fits the bill nicely.

Hope to post a pic soon.

Cheers for now!

That's great, the 90 is far more simple mechanically and you can get it re-mapped to 120bhp and better fuel economy so it's a win-win situation.

Hi Willy
I'm also a recent acquirer of an HDi estate.
Would you say changing the front pads was easy? Mine are at 20% according to Peugeot so I might do them in a couple of months.
Hope you enjoy your car
