(You know it's just the beginning of destiny leading you to your next 406 - may as well give in & start looking).

Already looking Doggy
as a second car for the wife though, have seen a nice saloon 110 HDi Polski plated LHD for silly money, dont know the year yet but i am very tempted,
at the moment I cant claim my fuel as a work expense as the landy is uk plated so if i buy the 406 for the wife and register it to my company i wont have to convert and re-plate and register the landy here, which has its advantages
(think of anything that might take a picture of your number plate for example and the cops that have an aversion to pulling over uk plated cars as they dont speak english) that way i can keep my landy as god intended and the wife gets a car and i get to claim my fuel pre-tax thus lowering my tax payments each month, win win win win situation.
as for the hub bearings, well stripped down the rears this morning and cleaned and repacked the bearings, the old grease was all but gone and all that remained was a gritty brown nastiness, the back sounds much quieter now
we have to go to the Kindergarten with our lil fella in about 10 mins as he starts there in a week and its a get to know you play session for the kids today so had to come home and get cleaned up
then this afternoon im gonna strip the front hubs and do the same with them hopefully this will help the thing survive for another week or two till i can get some new bearings, gaskets, hub spanner, etc etc delivered from the uk.
It certainly wont make things worse, and i have to say im quite enjoying working on a big daft car with big bolts and stuff
fingers crossed guys please.
