Clutch Release arm

noticed when i changed clutch cable today that the release arm has a large amount of play in it ,,,

((( im still getting judder setting off in 1st )))) clutch was replaced 5 months ago

is it possible that the nylon bushes have gone that holds the arm in place ? seems a lot of play/movement to me, im really pissed off now cant gt rid of this judder

Play in which direction, side to side? Probably not but I can't imagine how it would make the clutch judder. Paging Mr. Jasper, paging Mr. Jasper...

side to side yes the judder isnt getting any worse as times goes by, could it be a spring on the clutch itself ?

it also makes 1 hell of a loud squeek when the clutch pedal is pressed,

the squeek sounds like its the arm at the top.

Is that squeak when you press the pedal or continuously when the pedal's held down?

only when the clutch is pressed and realeased

the squeek is coming from the release arm as tho its sticking, you can feel it vibrate as well if you touch it when clutch being pressed and released..

When re-fitting the clutch cable you're suppose to hook/fix/mount it to a point close to the steering rack in the front beam/cross member. This helps ratcheting of the cable. Have you fixed/mounted it properly? If all is well then it must be from the bushes on both sides of the fork lever shaft, the fork bearings ??

thought as much, eliminated from possibilities since he had replaced the whole thing just 05 months back..

guess i'll have to live with it then for another 12 months then have a new clutch in dont wanna be paying that sort of cash out again so soon after ..
