25mpg isnt very economical, unless your in a pickup with a full trailer, or in a scania 144 then 25mpg would be fantastic.

My Coupe is lucky to be doing 15 MPG because I've been spending at least 3 hours a day practically stationary in nose-to-tail traffic  because the bus "service" around here is so unreliable and expensive, EVERYONE takes their car to work (they all sit there by themselves in their cars, no car pooling). That, and the weather is crap and nobody wants to sit for up to an hour at a bus stop in the freezing cold for a bus that has either crashed, has broken down, or is simply running late. When it does turn up the bus is freezing cold because the heaters only work during the height of summer.

I used to take public transport, but having joined the network team, we are all required to have their own car for work purposes (i.e. driving from Aberdeen to Arbroath or Montrose to fix a problem).

Anyway, I'd MUCH prefer to be doing 15 MPG because I've had the accelerator jammed to the floor, and a big grin all over my face. But that's not going to happen any time soon, sodding weather.

This talk of fuel economy makes me feel good in my grumbly old diesel, sure its not the fastest in the world but the worst i get is 40mpg.
I was working somewhere once and they said 'oh no it costs £2 a day to get here' and they would rather take the bus, i asked what they drove and they replied corsa. With my 406 i would never take the bus NEVER. Though i can understand why you would in london because taking a car there is not a viable option, but if i was there with a car id just drive straight out.
