What's the black box under the throttle pot?

Erm, it's 2002, so I guess multiplex.

Went into Service Box and it came up with the same picture as below.

How do I test it? I went out to try and measure voltages but not quite sure what to measure. There's a plug going into each of the injectors - should I unplug that and measure it or is that for the injector operation? I thought there was a common live across all 4 plugs but couldn't find it (although it is dark-ish).

Thanks Steve! Will have a measure tomorrow. I am guessing it should read 12volts?
