406 wont stay locked

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

One of the door catches will probably be sticking. Maybe due to frost or needs some WD40 spraying inside the locking mechanism on each door.

You need to ensure all four doors, the bonnet, the boot, and the fuel filler cap are securely closed before you lock the car. As others have said, you need to check the mechanisms on each of these lockable points, and apply WD-40 liberally if any of them feel a bit stiff.

If that doesn't help, I'd get it in to a garage - it's not the sort of thing you just want to leave, in case some wee scrote-bag comes and nicks your motor.
