Power Steering Pump
Hi - Does anybody know how to remove a power steering pump on a 2002 HDI estate. The bearing is noisy when at idle but fine when driving, I have stuck some grease and wd40 in it when makes it a little quieter for a time. I want to replace it but I can't figure out how to remove it. Thanks in advance. Jeb

Re: Power Steering Pump
It's fairly straightforward, aux belt off, undo the PAS lines and remove the pump.
When you fit the new one turn the steering wheel lock to lock to bleed the system and top up.
Quick tip: Take a photo of the Aux belt routing before you remove it!

Thanks for the info but how does the belt come off, I can't see how to loosen it, is there a pre tensioner somewhere
