Seems pretty good, expensive but if it adds 20bhp its prob worth it.

Its something I'll look at getting done in about 2mths time. Something like that and an ECU Remap will take mine from 110bhp to about 170bhp.

How can it restrict air flow when it forces more air into it?Captain Jack wrote:Please don't buy this as it's a complete waste of money... especially as your car is already turbocharged, you'll simply restrict the airflow to the turbo and massively hinder the performance.
A remap done professionally should get 35-40bhp increase, 26bhp is prob what a plug n play box will do.xplosiv wrote:hi,
from what i have read, the best and safest way to get some more performance it to simply get it re-mapped, giving 26bph increase for (110) and 60N more torque.
thanks,

Our charge for the 2.0 HDi is ?275 + VAT. This price includes the remapping work to add up to 40bhp, (55lb ft torque) pre and post testing, acceleration testing providing conditions allow and travel to your home or workplace. We would like to state that we are not the sort of company that tries to get the ultimate extra 1bhp at the expense of drivability. Our aim is to achieve the best combination of power, longevity, economy and as mentioned, drivability. Each engine map is custom to the car and the drivers requirements, tested on the road, where it counts. The mileage is big, but providing it has been serviced well there is no reason it why it shouldn't go on to do a nother 112k, tuned or untuned.
ECU remapping is fully reversible, which means if you are unhappy with the results on the day, we will return the car to normal and thank you for trying us. After this, we offer a 14 day "cooling off" period during which you can at least get the chance to test our work over distance and familiar journeys. If once again you are unhappy for any reason, we can either modify what we have done or indeed return the car to standard and give you a full refund.
