Are you getting warm air in the cabin?
I'm thinking sticky thermostat or air lock.

Do the fans go on with the ignition?

Could be they're overcooling the radiator. Stuck relay probably.

after a 5 mile ride round , the radiator was still cold after the 5 mile ride
i took the coolant tank lid of and started to squeeze the pipe that goes into the thermostat housing...
and when i was pumping the pipe i could feel the radiator going hot all over :?
i did all this why the engine was still running ,,,radiator is now red hot

when the engine was cold a few hours ago, i firmly squeezed the same pipe and i could hear water as tho it was squeezing past the thermostat
think im gonna change it 2moro and see how it goes
for the price of a thermostat its worth doing
