my mum just inhereted a motorbike from her husband who sadly passed away on the 27th december 2010...

That Honda aint doin owt for me. For that money I'd have an X-type; they have chain cams don't they?
I was worried but now I'm £600 lighter
Glad I did actually, it feels different after the belt change.
Still a bit wobbly under load below 1500 RPM. Not cam belt, not engine mount, maybe just getting old?

For what? If you want a bike that looks nice then yes. If you want a bike that goes, stops and handles nice then you're probably looking in the wrong place.

I've fitted Alloy timing gears to my 2 Essex V6's (Scimitar SE5 and 5A), they're noisier than the nylon gears, but I sleep a lot better knowing they're in there.steve_earwig wrote:Ford's Essex had a gear to drive the camshaft (made out of plastic)
