Has anyone done a head gasket on a 1.9td ?
How hard is it ? Would a novice like me be able to do it with a good how-to guide ?
Not sure if it needs doing yet but just thinking ahead
Also once done how would it affect power and mpg ?

How hard is it ? Not too hard compared to, say, an HDi. Would a novice like me be able to do it with a good how-to guide ? Yes, if you can find one (there's always Haynes)

Also once done how would it affect power and mpg ? Depends if it actually needs doing.

Re: D8 Head Gasket Change
ive changed a few head gaskets on those xud engines and id say dont do it unless you know what your doing.
you will only regret taking it apart wen somthing goes wrong,
but if it doesnt need doing then leave it be.
