Its just been picked up.

That'll be a nice chunk of space freed then.

If you were breaking the GTX, was going to suggest pulling the switch & wiring from the drivers seat in that & transferring to the leather one as it would negate the need for buggering about with the seat ECU.

I may swap the gtx seats into the exec that I'm driving at the moment. The leather in it is a little 'tired'. I'm trying to work out if its worth changing the heater pads and memory over.
Another project!

Sounds like an interesting plan. What's this Exec you've got like? Has the 407 gone now then?

407's sitting on my brother-in-laws drive while I work out what to do with it :( , in the mean time I picked up another 406 exec estate(2000 plate hdi) to keep me on the road.
Its a bit tatty and I don't know whether to tidy it up or just run it into the ground. Its already cost me the spare lift pump that I had knocking around.

Doesn't sound too good for the 407. What went wrong with that? Considering the amount of spares you have, a 406 is probably a safe bet for a while - it just depends on how tatty this one you've picked up is.

Its tatty, inside and out. The 407 probably needs a new engine, I haven't had time to look.

Any one want a project 407?

I reckon you should send the 407 to Dogslife to get defapped! 406 should come good - just cherry pick the best bits out of the car & a half of spares you've got.

I'd rather sell them all to pay for the 407 repairs. :(

That really doesn't sound good then. What's the diagnosis on the 407? What mileage did it give up on?

What's also pretty bad is that the 2 16v HDi engines that came up first on an Ebay search were over £1200! Fingers crossed it's fixable then. May be worth offering up the GTX + the spares on here to go towards the repair (if it is economically viable).
