In short: no

1) The 406 has 4-stud wheel hubs
2) The smallest wheels factory-fitted to any 406 were 15in, and look like roller skates wheels in those arches
3) The largest wheels factory-fitted to any 406 were 16in, and are as small a wheel as you would really want to go for

Fig 2..... Or looks like a car with wagon wheels with larger.........15inch are perfect and were the subject of mucho cash to develop the optimum wheel/tyre size.......I.M.O. :)
I myself hate tall wheels on a car that are out of proportion with tyre sidewalls that make you think "Where are the sidewalls" all a waste again I.M.O. look like they have been nicked from a parked steam train !!

My very first 406 was a 96/N 1.8 LX with 14" steel wheels, but if your car had 15" on to start with you shouldn't go smaller.

They look ok, but what size are you looking at? Also, make sure the offset on them is 25mm at the most - depending on the width of the wheel. Wider than 6ins & you really need to be looking at 20mm or less for an offset.

Should fit no prob then. If you look at the pics of my car, the wheels I have are 7x16 with a 12mm offset. Standard steels are 6ins with 18mm offset. There've been quite a few sets of alloys like mine on Ebay just lately - were you not tempted to get a set of those? How much are the new ones?
