Rear Stabilizers

sum1 said to get the tracking done wen changing the rear stabilizer ..

wen i looked today it looks like 2 bolts off , slot the link off bolt the new 1 on..

how can that knock tracking off ??

Gary, the bolts have an offset (eccentric) so you must mark the position of the bolts before you remove them or you will have to have a 4 wheel alignment check done.
These bolts move the back wheels slightly in and out at the top, like altering the camber.

For god's sake don't buy the ebay ones Gaz, they are shite and you'll be replacing them in a year. Get a pair of oe ones from eurocarparts, they are far sturdier.

ye i will do teamy. got the £25 ones in my basket on ECP . £25 each ..

i would rather get the £5 ones on ebay but dont fancy doing them again and going through the trouble of having 4 wheel allignment :lol:

I completely agree with you mate, that's why I got my first lot off the bay, trying to save the pennies.
I was gob smacked when it was failed on them during the mot a year later! You really do get what you pay for with these :roll:
