New arrival

Post by Roylewaa »

Not the 4 wheeled kind this time chaps :cheesy:

My wife just gave birth to our 4th child at 8.40pm tonight, a little girl, 7lb 12oz called Amber :)
Me and the Mrs are made up as having 3 boys were desperate for a girl
Time for the 7 seater 406 to go to work :cheesy:

I'l be swiftly booking myself in for the snip, no more, four is enough, weve made enough of a contribution to the human race now

Cheers mate, It's been a long couple of days, her waters went Monday morning but no contractions came and she was only 1 cm dilated, We went in this morning for her to be induced as they don't like the wee nipper being in there too long after the waters have gone, she did#nt start properly contracting till 6 o'clock, by half 8 she was demented and had had enough  , then pop all of a sudden a head appeared and she popped out, found myself getting quite emotional and welled up:oops: .......Then I saw the placenta and neirly barfed, not a very nice looking thing

Oh yes,I could write a book on sleep deprevation, or 2nd youngest is only 2 and he's a bugger for not going to bed, he's still up as I type

Congrats mate and I agree 4 is enough, one thing I would like to say after being there at the birth for all 4 of mine is this;

Woman should stop complaining about the pain of childbirth - My back was agony after trying to sleep in those crappy hospital chairs!!! and the Mrs didn't help with her constant moaning!!!

Only joking it's the best feeling in the world and I wish you and your family all the best

Congratulations and well done to the other half,

I get the feeling when she is older she will be a very well protected little girl with a knack for wrapping the boys around her little finger

Really pleased for you mate, im just glad the wife doesnt come on here as she is on at me to get our next one on the way, even reading about such things gets her broody

Thanks for all the well wishes chaps, I Appreciate it :)

Looks like the Mrs is coming home a little later with the littl'un

Oh yes, I'l probably be online at stupid 'oclock in the morning from now on

Yep, she'l defo be protected, my oldest who is 9, and my 5 year old are over the moon to have a little sister, not so sure on our 2 year old, as at the mo he's got an awful temper, which i'm hoping he'l grow out of

I agree with the chairs in those delivery suites, When we were admitted, neirly all the rooms had leather recliners for the partners to sit on, what did we get in our room, A poxy small backed chair that lets off a farty noise when you sit on it
Sat it that for neirly 12 hours, occasionally getting up to do the good husband thing and rub backs, give reassurance and the like

She's getting the implaint in soon as, and has spoken to the hospital about getting her tubes tied, Ive offered to have the snip but she'd rather have it done
