What's this button?

Post by Coxy »

No pic sadly, if no success on here will have a pic tomorrow.

Basically it's next to the cruise control button, and IIRC it's like a dot or something with ever growing curved lines out to one side, kind of like a signal strength symbol.

"Understeer" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"Oversteer" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"Horsepower" is how fast you hit the fence.
"Torque" is how far you take the fence with you.

Well the symbol would make sense, but even if so, what does it do?

As jamjar says it disables the internal alarm sensors. It can also disable the alarm completely (useful if your plip doesn't work and you've had to disconnect the battery  )
