air dozer
anyone know if i ccan take the air dozer off my hdi 90, i bought an inlet elbow from farmer p thinking mine didnt have a air dozer on it but it does so i now need to know can i do away with it at all.

I don't think it's got any electrical connections on it so perhaps you could just plug the pipe from the vacuum solenoid

Well it is only the low road tax HDi's that have a dozer but I'm not fully sure how it works.
It chokes the inlet manifold, I was told once that it snaps-shut when you kill the ignition which makes the engine stop without that big compression shock but maybe it can partially close on tick-over? I really don't know
maybe it closes a bit forcing greater EGR recirculation?

right then i been looking on one of the 306 clubs and it seem as ling as i blank the electro valve pipe it can be removed, i think i'll do a guide while im fitting all this

When the dozer on mine partially fell apart the car wouldn't
start !! be intresting to see if it runs when pipe blocked off
