Hopefully I will be able to fix this myself, because a new one is EXPENSIVE!

my aircon sometimes doesn't work, i just wiggle the key, i will replace the ignition barrel when it becomes permanent.

But i am wondering, do i have to change the BARREL itself where i put the key in, or the plastic piece behind it, where the cables go in?

Would really help to know that

Hia guys, just a little update on how it's going

Looks like i'm getting some where now on this project i hope.
Talked to a friend who's neighbor has a 406 which is going to the breaker's, he is going to talk to him and maybe i can get a new ignition switch

Fingers crossed!

So maybe i finally can get some heat, specially now that the summer is coming on fast

Thought i would tell you that it works now.

I didn't do anything, i just started the car one day, and it came on!
I have figured out that if i wriggle the key about i will come on and off.

But it works, and im happy. When i get the chance ill see if i can fix it permanently
