Cylinder head wont come off!! 1.9td

Hi guys, yesterday i was ready to lift off the head... but it wont budge!! ive undone the 10 head bolts and the manifolds are off! I was stood on top of the engine pulling it up but it wont come off!!?? I have managed to get it to come up 2-3mm at the gearbox end but the cam pulley end wont move at all. Ive hit it with a hammer and a block of wood but no joy! I'm wondering if the bottle of K-seal i put in it has got anything to do with it!!?? Please help or its getting weighed in!!

yup it couid be the k-seal as welded it down,
try putting some thing around the middle of the ch and lever it up use something that wont damage anything tho,
itl go eventualy with persuation

Thanks mate...none of the brackets on the side of the engine would hold it on/down would they (as in a bracket that has 2 bolts.. one on the block and one on the head!!??)?? Im pretty sure ive not missed anything!!

can you not make a bar up something you can bolt to where the exhaust manifold bolts go
so its solid and lever it up

id double check everything 1st tho incase there is a bolt still in place somewhere, ^

I've made up a couple of half inch solid steel L shaped bars to go in the head bolt holes. The plan is im gonna try and lever the head up, while my assistant hits the head up with a club hammer!

Are you sure youve not missed abolt/bracket somewhere
this sounds strange : the ch shouid split from the block with a little persuation if its not budgeing something will be stopping it, iwouid double check it and make sure,
