Head Gasket replacement on 2ltr 16v D8

Just a quick question about replacing the head gasket on my 2ltr - can someone confirm the tightening torques and angle (in a haynes manual) 35nm stage 1, 70nm stage 2 the angle tighten to 160 degrees?? I'm not querying the nm settings - just the angle 160 degrees seems rather a lot on top of 70nm.

I'm hoping it's just a misprint and it should be 60 degrees - any help on this will be appreciated as starting to strip the car this morning to do it.

Hi,

Tighten to 35nm

Then 70nm.

Then tighten 160 degrees.

This is correct for D8.

D9 is different.

It's lucky i have a 2ft breaker bar for the angle tighten then!

They are very tight...

The D9 is 285 degrees
