Re: starting problems
HAve you tried to put back the original radio ?
Maybe when the aftermarket radio was installed something went wrong .. and could have damage the BSI ..
your best chance to know something, is, connect the computer/PP2000 into your car ...

Re: starting problems
i was taking out an aftermarket cd player and putting in the standard one again, i was told theres another isolated fuse box behind the glove box is this right?
Re: starting problems
Hi, i have a LHD car, and behind the glovebox there is no fusebox whatsoever ... my fusebox is attached to the BSI in the drivers side, under the steering wheel column ... you have to spin 3 screws and then it will fall down, there you will gain access to the fusebox... another fuse box is located at the engine compartment .. you could check there too.. because there is some fuses that gives energy to the BSI ( if i'm not wrong there is 2 MEGAFUSES and 1 little fuse that gives energy to BSI and some other stuff..) and some stuff for the inside ..RobH69 wrote:i was taking out an aftermarket cd player and putting in the standard one again, i was told theres another isolated fuse box behind the glove box is this right?
But carefull removing the big fuses .. i would recommend let the ignition Off for about 2-3 minutes, then you can pull them out, and check if they are OK, when you put back in wait about 30 seconds or so.
I'll give you pics if you want ..

Re: starting problems
when you turn the ignition to the last position, how much " clicks " do you hear ? It can be a case of an relay being at fault ...
