My poor car!

You all know by now my Mum gave my Focus a wack on the front suspension before she give me the car.

After replacing bits and bobs my suspension was still clunking, knocking and the car seemed 'off'.

I knew the steering rack was nackered as it was making a funny noise.

So I finally got it to a mechanic who was reccomended to me by a family friend.

We got it up on the ramp this morning and had a good look over it.
This is the list of fault we found...

• Both front top mounts have play
  O/S Hub Buckled
  N/S Wheel bearing has play
  Both ball joints have slight play
  And the back bushes need replacing on the wishbones

Thats ontop of the steering rack

My Mum will be paying to fix it

Nahh, Bernard was owned by some people who lived on a Holiday home park
main issue with bernard was the rear suspension, 100% sure it did allot of towing.

Bear in mine in 6 months I did 26k in Bernard and the I trashed the life out of him, and at one point he was running 22psi of boost
He did well!

Aparently my steering rack is a pain to find and I have a twisted subframe. Bugger

Sam, just drive it onto the back of my lorry whilst I deliver to Linde at Bridgend, and I'll dump it somewhere for you

Is it insured against fire?

Its ok, my Mum give the car a wack so my parents are paying. The mechanic got a second hand subframe, but hes having trouble getting the steering rack
