There's something so.. transporter-ish about that one :)
PS: Have these ever been driven, at all?

thats a proper bmw interior, its sporty but still has wood, and no idrive which seems to make the new dashes look like a tv cabinet, and the plastics of older bmws seems a bit higher quality.

I know, right? And you almost missed them

I reckon it'd cost me 2 grand to insure the wing mirrors on one of those

Hehe, deffo. Would you even be able to LPG one of those? It would be a damn shame to do it, I know but just wondering

BTW as you said classic insurance I might as well ask.. what are the benefits and how much cheaper is it? What do you reckon a 1971 Lada would cost per year for a 17 year old? It's LHD and it's not even registered in the UK so is it even worth doing?

lpg would work surely them things are in the lpg place all the time and you cant tell its on lpg the tank fills the spare wheel hole the filler goes anywhere on a car like that below the bumper to keep the body original and the switch will fit in a blanking plates place.
the difference is huge my aunt 10 years ago insured a vw camper van (square one) for about £130 the zafira then cost £700

If you want to go a bit retro, there's always something like this:

Or even this if you want to be economical with the truth to your insurers:

2000/X Peugeot 406 110 HDi LX Family 93k to 2000/W BMW 530D SE Auto 84k to 2003/03 Peugeot Partner Hdi Escapade 98k to 2003/53 Vauxhall Zafira DTi Elegance 74k

The 309 isnt a bad wee car, i had a phase 2 diesel and it took the abuse of being rallied round fields very well. I dont know how reliable old pug petrols are so cant say much about the engine, but the rest should be ok.
If you are going to get an old diesel its better to get an old XUD they were the best back then, and if you need parts theres still a lot of cars about with xud's in them.

I like the idea of that nova with the 3.0 V6 in it and it's sleeper look on the steelies
I'd be whipping the seats back out to maintain the sleeper look myself
Although saying that, I doubt i'd fit in the fecker

the v6 nova does have quite an appeal as a sleeper, keep the rusty arches and dented wing they add to the effect.
But a v6 in a small fwd car must be a recipie for disaster when it comes to corners.
