as for how late im staying at the moment i have a clear day so was planning on doing 10 till 4 minimum, i reckon there is good couple of hours in the heritage centre itself,

now the issue of BBQ, i have no equipment i can bring as its all back in Poland but a few bangers and some bread i can do, who is going to bring the BBQ itself or are we going down the route of disposable ones?

I will be alone i reckon as the wife doesnt fancy another 6 or 7 hours in the car after our trip across europe for some reason so in some ways thats not a bad thing.
Unless anyone's got a better suggestion I propose we go for this 'Breakfast Junction' on the Warwick bypass: http://www.192.com/atoz/business/warwic ... 47080f/ml/
From there, its about 12 miles to Gaydon, with a choice of M40 or some B-roads.
Is this enough of a conyoy opportunity? (An alternative might be to meet up even earlier at the National Motorcycle Museum, M42 J6, then breakfast, then Gaydon).

Gaydon's open from 10:00 to 5:00 pm & I know Disco, as organiser needs to be there by 9:45 & breakfast place opens at 8:00
or so....

Therefore how's about:

National Motorcycle Museum, M42 J6 at 7:30 - 7:45
Breakfast stop at 8:15 - 9:20
Gaydon 9:45
Just join up at any point that suits you.

I can bring a BBQ / charcoal, suggest we avoid disposables, (some places don't like them). Maybe one more BBQ would be good, if there's a bunch of us.

I don't have any seats / table / gazebo's etc.

I will be there from whichever start point / time people want to go for and as I've already shelled out for Mrs Doggy's evening out too, I'll probably be there throughout. - There was some talk of an evening meal too, which I'd be up for if there's sufficient interest, but I can see that people with longer journeys and/or kids may well have had enough earlier....

Opinions, please people?

Is puggy coming? He has a remapped 110 as well (hopefully with a non-split intercooler hose this time).

Afaid we haven't heard from puggy for a while - he was waiting on a hospital appointment, maybe it's come up.

Hope he's OK

He'll be feigning a worse illness than he actually has, so as to maximise his proximity to nurses and increase the possibility of receiving a sponge bath from one (or several!) of them.

Are we going to have name tags on to figure out who is who?

I'd like to get there early enough for the breakfast, but don't forget I've got the little man with me. To get there for 8.15 means leaving at 6.30 from here & to have both of us ready to go for then means getting up at 5 & that probably won't happen.

Not sure what time we'll be heading home either as he can be a handful & gets bored very easily.

Nope, we're going to make a big game of guessing. Of course some of us will have a tactical advantage, won't we Doggy?

I'm a bit dubious about that breakfast junction and suggest we either go the little chef over the road as originally mentioned or we have a breakfast run on the barbie as well as lunch

This is all coming together brilliantly- I will be meeting at J6 for the sh1t5 and giggles, I've got no problem with getting up early for a day of car fun (or sex... ..)

So my idea of araldite'ing plaques to people's cars doesn't seem like such a stupid idea when you juxtapose it to name-badges does it?

Is that the same junction plod? (I've got no issues with either, be happy to swap to the Little Chef).

I doubt we'll get there until about midday having got the kids sorted. I haven't got a portable bbq but I'll throw in some bangers and rolls!
