RELEASE BEARING

a little confused
is it right my release bearing should be connected to my clutch or should this be separate like most cars, :?

some are connected, sounds like you have the "Lift & Pull" type.... i hate doing clutches on this type, never sure the fork is correctly attached to the release bearing untill you try it :roll:

thats good so does the bearing have to be turned to a way where the fork has to meet it or just pop box back on and hope for the best, :lol:

you can kind of feel & see it for the last few inches, then its pot luck, some gearboxes did come with a inspection bung, others didnt, we used to drill a 20mm hole into the bell housing casing on the ones that didnt, and put a bung in place :roll:

thanks for your help, will have a look and see if theres a bung. if that fails its a drill bit, :cheesy:
