Re: defapped & New file loaded... issues
It's not a common problem, but both Captain Jack's remapped 110 Hdi & my 2.2 exhibit a vibration under hard accelleration, below about 2000 rpm. AFAIK, no-one on the coupe forum has noted this issue and there must be 20+ remapped 2.2 HDi's on there.
FWIW, I have tested mine with the standard map & the problem disappears, so I surmise the extra torque renders the DMF effectively single-mass at times.

2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

Re: defapped & New file loaded... issues
That's good to know. A few people who have had remaps done (110s & 2.2s) have noticed a slight vibration under hard acceleration at low revs in the top gears & Doggy has theorized that it could be to do with the DMF.
If yours has no problems with the extra grunt it could be that it only shows when the DMF is starting to wear out a bit. If I decide the Beemer isn't for the long term I'll probably be going for a 2.2 HDi in either a 406 or (more likely) a Citroen C5, so is nice to know that the vibration isn't an inherent problem on all of them.
By the way, if you don't want the Hoggars, can you let me know as I'll (probably) be putting them on the car in the next couple of days ready to sell the Nautilus wheels separately. Don't think any of the regulars here are in the market at the mo so need to start swapping over bits & bobs, so that most of the upgrade bits can be recycled.
Edit: Damn, Doggy beat me to it.

Yep, that's fine. Don't think any regulars on here will be buying her now (although I am grateful for the fact that they have let me know rather than keep me hanging), so will probably be going on Autotrader at the weekend minus a few bits & bobs.
