Discourtesy - whether it be on the road, or in day to day life

Like if you hold the door open for someone and they fail to say thank you! - I just usually say "thanks, don't mention it, oh, you didn't!"

The office next to us used to be for services for a multinational bank, and a lot of the employees were like that.
Would slam the door behind them rather than hold it open too.

Agree with most of the above (except the eggs, mayo and raisins, which I love).

Frankly, my list would be shorter if you asked "what doesn't annoy you?"

Facebook. I have deleted family members who constantly spam the facebook feed with inane sh*t. All sorts of quizes and spam and all the sh*t of the day.

People in the wrong lane.

I was going into boucher road turning left, left arrow on lights as I get the inside lane. A BMW driver was turning right the other way, his light was green but from there you get fed onto the outside lane. He immediately cut in right behind me in the inside lane, flashing lights and beeping, follows me into car park and starts giving off. I explained to him the error of his ways both in driving and in car choice, and he told me to read the highway code. I told him I had right of way to that lane and to shove it where the sun dont shine.

Cheese, especially how it ruins a perfectly good pizza, and how when you ask for no cheese you get stared at blankly.
Pound shops that are full of stuff that will break before you get it home.
Radio 1
How newspapers say something is good for you one day then say its bad for your health the next day
Sauce in a glass bottle
DFS advertisments and their unending sale.

More!

- people who always moan about being skint and having no job, but still won't get a job at McDonalds because "it's a sh*t job" (hint - it's still a f*cking job, it pays you money, and it stops you claiming benefits and being an arsehole)
- buying a drink from a vending machine only to find they must have just stocked it and your drink is still warm
- paying £1.36 a litre for petrol at one Shell garage only to find that at the other Shell garage less than 1 mile away it's only £1.31
- self-service checkouts at the supermarket
- people who turn up late to appointments

buying a drink from a vending machine only to find the vending machine doesnt give change and you only get a can of diet coke, and at the price you can get the same stuff in lidl for 31p for a huge bottle.

christ on a skateboard - who don't i need to quote?

vending machines - surely in invention by satan.

if you think the driving in gb is bad come to croatia!

i've given up on facebook.

soap operas - to quote douglas adams "life's bad enough without inventing more of it"

i miss blue cheese. and cheddar. and in fact any cheese that doesn't taste like soap.

game shows like the weakest link (leakiest wank) - also satan's work.

Teamster - avocados, melons, anything that's hard to tell when it's at it's best - get it right it's heaven, get it wrong it's a real disappointment. similar pears - you have to catch them in the 20 second period when they're making the transition between hard as stone and throw-it-away-quick puss.

sprouts - best lightly steamed (not boiled until they're grey and mushy). I have to admit to eating them raw though...

i'm with you on the 4x4s but it's not just them - it's the amount of drivers that can't handle the fact that they're stuck in traffic but you're not, so they do all they can to hinder your progress like moving all the way across so you can't get by - if i went to work by helicopter would you buy a surface-to-air missile? At least the news in the uk doesn't have a regular "how many bikers died on the roads this weekend" spot

FP - that's interesting about the energy saving bulbs 'cos there was an old one in one of my wife's friend's houses that used to give me a migraine. They changed it and now I'm fine there. I hate the way they're really expensive here but the power's so variable fluctuating all over the place so they don't last long enough to justify buying the damn things. I changed all mine to energy saving bulbs when i moved into my house, after 4 years there's only one still going and all the rest are incandescents again. Then there's the fact they contain mercury but i think we've already done that one.

Traffic lights. Especially on roundabouts. And ones that allocate a disproportionate amount of time to pedestrians because some generously paid cnt with a massive pension at the council who will retire at 50 is on a crusade to impose his warped socialist principles on the private sector workers who have to pay for his lifestyle.
And before you get started, yes: traffic lights are socialist. In fact they're communist because they presume that central planning is better than letting people work it out for themselves.
Local authorities really cannot be cut enough.
I feel better now.
