i think a wooden effect would look awful, america had a fad for it for some time and it looked awful:

there is the volvo r line editions, but this is obviously the volvo ikea special edition.
my grampa had a morris minor estate back in the 60's i seen a picture of it one time the 12 children in the back, but he painted his white, the wood and all so it didnt look like wood at the back, although my dad said the painting was done by a brush so not exactly top quality.

I know of two people back in the 80's who took a paint brush to their cars using enamel? coach paint? something........they both looked sh*t but it's not something you see these days :oops:

I think that Moggy looks quite good actually
Generally i'm not keen on the wood, ( well, in the right context it has it's advantages :wink: :lol: :lol: :lol: )
but on the moggy and say, the Mini countryman (original, not the bmw abortion) they look nice

Father in law had a mini countryman, was quite nice
Got a few bits of chrome Cooper S trim bits around windows, the handbrake etc

Time for a vinyl roof revival?
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)

2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

i see it on some cars here usually white ones drove by boy racers they have black roofs, but not done in the same classy way as you would find it done on your marina, or datsun
